We have had a lovely Easter long Weekend so far....Last night we went to our wonderful friends Chris and John's place for dinner. We love spending time with this family! Charlotte thinks she's died and gone to heaven when we head out to their place at South Yunderup, as they are on a huge block and she can totally run amok. When we turn into their drive she always exclaims "We're here!!!". She gets on famously with their three kids Ben, Emma and Sophie - particularly Sophie. We never leave there place much before midnight, and after a wonderful meal and a few drinks, we drag ourselves away. It was just what we needed - to get out of the house!!
And then this morning we were invited to Sara and Dave's for their regular Sunday morning Pancake Breakfast. This is my second time at this fantastic event. Dave and Sara don't just do your run-of-the mill pancakes with Maple Syrup, we had about 10 different topping options, and the pancakes themselves are scrumptious. Thanks guys for a lovely morning.
And then as if we hadn't eaten enough for the day, Mum arrived for a late lunch with a kilo of prawns and a tray of Oysters. So we pigged out again. So basically we have just eaten the weekend away... not to mention an awful lot of chocolate too....
And all that eating took it out of Charlotte... only the second time ever she has fallen asleep at the dinner table....
And not that I am the praying type, but if everyone could send some positive energy to our friends Allan and Therase whose 17 year old daughter is in Royal Perth Hospital with a fractured skull after some idiot threw a large rock through the window of a car that she was travelling in last night. We heard of this tragedy ourselves on the six o'clock news tonight. It makes me feel so sick...
Anyway, hope you all had a lovely Easter.

Happy Easter Cass and family, sounds like you have been very busy and poor little Charlotte looks totally exhausted.
