Have been meaning to post these photos for days, but haven't found the time. Things still very chaotic here, at times Brett and I feel like we aren't coping that well at all. Having a lot of breastfeeding dramas with a horribly cracked nipple, which is taking up all my time and emotional energy, leaving little for poor Charlotte. Was really thinking that by 2 weeks we could be out and about, but as I am unable to feed Lucas without crying hysterically (me not him), it's not really an option (it's not a good look). There is some light at the end of the tunnel, my midwife visited this morning, and I managed to get Lucas on the breast that I had been resting for the past 48 hours. This was a huge hurdle to jump as I was in so much pain, I didn't think we would be continuing to feed. So fingers crossed, we may be getting somewhere. Just thought I would compare our two little ones in the bath. (P.S Lucas isn't really jaundice, it is just the setting the camera was on!!)

Gosh he gorgeous Cass, he looks quite big in his daddy's arms ready to get into the bath, very long......have you tried nipple shields whilst feeding, I remember having awfully cracked nipples with my first and then got mastitis, was so ill.....but the shields did help a little, it's hard but try and hang in there with the feeding.......oooohh now that I just read back over what I have written I hope this isn't unwanted advice!!!!
