My midwife Sally has just left after a lovely visit with us. I had a long awaited check up with her, as she has been stuck in Victoria, waiting on a baby! The poor woman she was supporting, who was having a homebirth, went 26 days over her due date! 26 days.... Oh My God!!!! But all was well with mum and bub! A breezy 5 hour labour! Worth the wiat! But please everyone, send your prayers to the birth goddess, that I don't go THAT far over!! I'm tipping this baby is going to make us wait, but please not that long!
All is good with me and the bubba! Plenty of movement from bub, who whilst not yet engaged, is in the perfect position to do so. And I am feeling great! I never thought I would say that, when we haven't had a day under 33 degrees since December, our hottest January in over 35 years, and no rain in 47 days or something ridiculous like that! I really thought I would be over the heat by now, but we plough on!
Now we just wait.....

What part of Sydney??? I was from Newcastle myself but 'spread my wings' in Sydney - for a few months at least...
OMG 26 days overdue, imagine that!!!! My sister has five days to go and she is sick of it, dont think I will tell her about that lady, she is likely to strangle me LOL.
Sounds like everything is full steam ahead with you Cass, glad to hear that you are feeling great, you are on the homeward run now!
