Lucas @ 5 months

Holy Crap, the little man has been here 5 months already... And as usual I am a day or two late with his monthly update. I'm sure none of you mind, but I had hoped to post it on the actual day - oh well!! So what has Lucas been up to...

He has had a cold (again!!).. but is pretty happy considering. He hasn't had a check-up with his health nurse this month, so I have no idea how much he weighs, except to say that my arm aches from carrying him by the end of the day!!! He is a boofa, a good kilo more than what Charlotte weighed at this age.

He is still feeding like a mad thing and I think beginning to show an interest in food - well at least everything I am eating. Sleeping - well that's another issue all together. The last few weeks I have been up every 2 hours. I don't know why??? He feeds and falls straight back to sleep. I am knackered and not coping that well with such little sleep. But hey, what can you do???

His hair is growing really quickly, but is a lot lighter than his hair when he came out. Still has a ginger tinge, and still has his beautiful blue eyes.

He is a real chatterbox and has discovered squealing. And Charlotte has rediscovered squealing, much to Lucas' delight. Mummy and Daddy aren't so impressed.

He is so close to rolling back to front.

Not at all close to rolling front to back - I think he likes it much more on his front. (ETA: It's Wednesday morning and he has just rolled front to back - LOL!! Me of little faith!!)

He can sit for quite a while, although Charlotte has shown him how funny it is to constantly throw himself backwards (complete with squeals and laughter), so there needs to be a soft landing behind him at all times.

Basically he is an absolute delight!! I know we as parents are supposed to be more relaxed the second time round, but I think I scored the most chilled out kid on the block.
