Well Lucas is now a little over 4 months... I really don't know where this month has gone, as it feels like just yesterday that I was writing his 3 month update.
We had his 4 month check-up with the Child Health Nurse on Tuesday and he now weighs 7.2kilos and is 64cm long. He also had his next round of immunisations. He was real trooper only letting out a small cry, even giving the nurse one of his trademark grins in between the two jabs.
Lucas is chatting heaps, especially in the car and at 4am when he wakes up ready to start the day!!! He is trying very hard to blow raspberries. He is feeding really well as evidenced by his mammoth weight gain of nearly one kilo in the last month.
We could do with a bit more sleep at night as he never goes longer than 4 hours between feeds. But he is an absolute angel through the day, rarely crying and having a couple of 2 hour naps, so I can't complain.
Lucas is very much in love with his big sister, even when she is stepping on him or nearly pulling his arm out of his socket. His new favourite pasttime is hanging out in his activity centre (see previous post). This has come in handy for mummy, and means that dinner is served at a respectable hour. It also give Lucas some personal space where Charlotte can't crowd him.
He is absolutely fascinated with his feet, especially when he is propped up on the couch...
Absolutely everything is going in the mouth...
He has the most beautiful eyelashes... enough to make any female jealous...
The blue eyes appear to be staying for now...
He is the happiest of little guys... and we are the happiest of parents...
