The battery is charging as I type this, then I will be spending the afternoon playing with my new toy!!!! Will definitely need to do a course to work out how too use all the features, but I chose this one as it has an auto mode and several other shooting modes, which will be more than enough to start with!!!! Soooooooo excited! Probably could have had a nice holiday on what it cost, but according to Brett - I deserve it!! He is a good hubby!! LOL!!!!

Wow Cass you are a lucky girl, can't wait to see some shots from this....excuse my ignorance though but was does SLR stand for, I am thinking I would love a new camera, may have to start doing some research.
