We had my dad and step mum come to visit from Sydney this past week. Unfortunately they came to a house of sick and wounded. Brett has had a week of excruciating neck pain (from and old injury) that saw him spend a considerable amount of time in bed, Lucas was onto his second week of cold/flu/cough, and I had a head cold/flu. Charlotte was well, but as explained in a previous post, not so good on the behaviour front.
Nevertheless we had a really nice week. Quiet, but nice. We stuck close to home with a couple of outings for coffee and cake (scones with jam & cream for me), a couple of lunches out, and a trip out to Pinjarra to Edenvale House (more scones with jam & cream).
